New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): RCB captain Rajat Patidar has completed 1000 runs in IPL. With this, he has surpassed great batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Rituraj Gaikwad in this matter. He has become the second fastest Indian player to do so.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar achieved a major feat in the match against Punjab Kings. He has become the second fastest Indian to score 1000 runs in IPL in just 30 innings. Before him, Sai Sudarshan had done this feat in 25 innings. During this, Rajat surpassed the great batsman Sachin Tendulkar and CSK's regular captain Rituraj Gaikwad. Both Sachin and Rituraj took 31 innings to achieve this milestone. Now Rajat Patidar has gone ahead of both these legends. In the match played against Punjab Kings, he scored 23 runs in 18 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six. On the basis of this innings, he also completed 1000 runs in his IPL.
