Hisar (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating accident took place in Budana village, located in the Narnaund area of Hisar district, at around 1 AM on Sunday night. A wall at a brick kiln collapsed, burying approximately 20 laborers and children under the debris. Tragically, four children lost their lives in the incident, including 3-month-old Nisha, 9-year-olds Suraj and Vivek, and 5-year-old Nandini. The condition of 5-year-old Gauri remains critical; she was rushed to Hisar Civil Hospital at 2 AM on Sunday night. All the victims were residents of Badhav village, Jalalpur, in the Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Other workers trapped under the collapsed wall were rescued and are receiving treatment at Narnaund Civil Hospital and Hansi Civil Hospital. The incident occurred at Sonu brick kiln in Budana, where many labor families from Uttar Pradesh are employed. The kiln has been busy with brick-making work and post-installation near the chimney. According to laborer Omprakash, around 25 workers were present at the kiln around midnight, while the children were sleeping near the wall next to the chimney when the structure suddenly fell. Three children died instantly, while 3-month-old Nisha passed away en route to Hisar.
