New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, in his capacity as Finance Minister, is set to present the 2025-26 state budget on Monday at 2 PM. The focus of the budget will be on fulfilling the hopes and expectations of women across the state, with several key initiatives likely to be announced.

Sources suggest that CM Saini may deliver on multiple promises from the BJP’s election manifesto through this budget, which is expected to surpass ₹2 lakh crore. One of the significant announcements could be the launch of the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, offering ₹2,100 per month to women.

Additionally, the budget may include a proposal to provide cooking gas cylinders to low-income families at a subsidized rate of ₹500. The budget will also focus on support for the poor, farmers, and youth, with substantial investments planned for improving the state’s education and healthcare infrastructure. There are expectations for multiple initiatives to benefit farmers and encourage industry growth.

During pre-budget consultations, CM Saini indicated that the budget would lay the foundation for Haryana’s progress, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 'developed India' by 2047.

Haryana's Agriculture Minister, Shyam Singh Rana, who visited Karnal on Sunday, also emphasized that the budget would bring positive developments for farmers in the state.
