Karnal (The Uttam Hindu): In a life-changing turn of events, Vikram, the husband of Rekha, the female Sarpanch of village Suhana has won a staggering ₹3 crore and a Mahindra Thar car in an online game. The jackpot was won on the My Circle 11 app, where Vikram had placed a bet of just ₹49 during the IPL match between Punjab and Lucknow. Vikram, who had created an ID in the name of his daughter, also won ₹1 lakh each on two teams he had placed on Dream Eleven. The family, including Vikram's wife Rekha and his labourer father, are overjoyed with the windfall.

Vikram, who also works as a farmer on rent, has been playing online games since 2019 and has won smaller amounts in the past.
