Fire Breaks Out in 4-Storey House in Ghaziabad, 4 Dead, 2 Injured
Ghaziabad (The Uttam Hindu): In Ghaziabad's Loni area near Delhi, a total of 4 people including a woman and 3 children were burnt to death in a massive fire in a four-storey house on Sunday morning. A woman and a 6-year-old girl were also burnt. On receiving information about the incident, the police along with the fire brigade reached the spot and after extinguishing the fire, removed the bodies and sent them for postmortem. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Fire breaks out in 4 storey house in Loni area of Ghaziabad, woman and 3 children burnt alive: According to the information received from Ghaziabad Police, today at 7:00 am, information was received that a house in Kanchan Park Mohalla under Police Station Loni area has caught fire. The police immediately informed the fire brigade about this. The police on the spot along with the fire brigade tried to extinguish the fire in the house. After extinguishing the fire, the bodies of a woman and three children were recovered from inside the house. At the same time, a woman and a six-year-old girl were also found in a scorched condition. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment with the help of an ambulance.
In the three-storey house, the parents lived on the ground floor, Shahnawaz's family lived on the middle floor and Shahnawaz's brother lived on the floor above that. The fire broke out on the middle floor, where the deceased lived. After the fire broke out, the parents came out from the ground floor, the children of the second brother came out from the top floor. A woman and a six-year-old girl also got burnt in the fire.
The fire brigade personnel who entered the house after extinguishing the fire found 4 people unconscious, including a woman and 3 children. They were immediately sent to the hospital by the local police and people. 4 people were found on the roof of the house, in which 2 people, a 30-year-old woman Ayesha wife of Shamsad and a 4-year-old child Ayan son of Shamsad were found burnt. They too were taken to the hospital for treatment by the local people. Two people, Shahnawaz and Shamsad, were safely rescued and brought down from the roof. Sewing machines and clothes were kept on the first and second floors of the said house.
