New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Khan Sir, known for his involvement in protests and clashes during the BPSC normalization dispute, may be facing further legal challenges. An FIR has been filed against the Twitter handle "Khan Global Studies," which is believed to be his official PR account. Reports suggest that the Patna Police is investigating the matter thoroughly and will take strict action against anyone found guilty.

The controversy began when "Khan Global Studies" posted a misleading and provocative message on Twitter, claiming that Khan Sir had been arrested and demanding his release. Patna Police quickly denied these claims, stating that Khan Sir had not been arrested. They clarified that Khan Sir had visited the Gardani bagh police station on Friday morning during the ongoing BPSC protests, met with the magistrate, and assured that he would work to address the concerns of the students. After this, Khan Sir was safely escorted by police to his car near Atal Path.

Patna Police emphasized that the post by the social media handle was false and inflammatory. They also mentioned that strict action would be taken against those spreading misleading, violent, and provocative content intended to incite unrest among students.

In another development, police arrested student leader Dilip Kumar, who had led the protests. He faces charges for inciting students and disturbing public order. The protests, which took place at the BPSC office in Patna, escalated into clashes, with the police using lathi harge to control the situation. Khan Sir and another coaching operator, Guru Rehman, joined the protests in support of the students, which led to widespread rumors of Khan Sir's arrest.

Later, Patna SSP Rajiv Mishra clarified that Khan Sir had not been arrested. On Saturday, Patna Secretariat SDP Anu Kumari confirmed that the post regarding Khan Sir's arrest, shared by the Twitter handle, had been taken seriously by the police. As a result, an FIR was filed against the social media handlers, and the posts were subsequently deleted. The handle later posted that Khan Sir had been released and was in stable health.
