Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The fingerprint of Shariful Islam, accused of attacking Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, has been matched. This big information has been given by the Mumbai Police in the Saif Ali Khan case. According to the Mumbai Police, reports of some of the samples that were sent for examination of the fingerprints of Shariful Islam, accused of attacking Saif Ali Khan, have come. Some fingerprints have matched in the report. However, the police is waiting for the final report. Police has told that many samples were taken from Saif Ali Khan's house, which were sent for examination. Reports of some have come.


Accused Shariful Islam was arrested by the police on January 19. An identification parade of Shariful Islam was conducted in Arthur Road Jail on Wednesday (February 5). According to media reports, Saif's staff nurse Ariyama Philip and aaya Junu also reached there to identify Shariful Islam during the parade. Shariful was also made to stand in front of both of them one by one along with other prisoners. The identification parade is held in the presence of the Tehsildar after taking permission from the court. Police or jail staff are not allowed to be present during the identification parade.


Police have confirmed that the face of the Bangladeshi man arrested for allegedly attacking Khan with a knife matches that of the man seen in CCTV footage of the Satguru Sharan building in Bandra area, where the actor lives.


Let us tell you that on January 16, actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife several times at his Bandra residence. Immediately after this, the actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital. There were several knife wounds on his body. He underwent surgery in the hospital. A piece of knife was also removed from near his spine. Police arrested Shariful Islam (30) from Thane on January 19 for the attack. He is a citizen of Bangladesh
