Fiery Collision Claims Six Lives, Ten Fighting for Survival in Bus-Truck Tragedy

Bhavnagar (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic road accident has taken place in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat. In this accident, six people died on the spot and 10 people were seriously injured. This accident happened near Trapaj on Bhavnagar-Talaja Highway, where a fierce collision took place between a private bus and a truck.

The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of 108 ambulance service and police, where their treatment is going on. Police is investigating to find out the cause of this accident. According to Superintendent of Police Harshad Patel, the accident occurred around 6 am when the bus was going from Bhavnagar to Mahuva. The bus hit the dumper truck from behind. The injured are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital and are said to be out of danger. According to officials, the collision was so severe that the right front part of the bus was completely damaged.
