Fake London Cardiologist Exposed After 7 Patients Die During Surgeries

Damoh (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking case of medical fraud has come to light in a missionary hospital in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that a fake doctor, claiming to be a famous cardiologist from London, operated on the hearts of dozens of people, due to which 7 patients have died so far.
Fake doctor posing as a cardiologist from London performed heart operations, 7 patients died: According to complainant Deepak Tiwari, 15 patients underwent surgery in the hospital between January and February 2025, of which 7 died. All these operations were performed by a fake doctor "N John Kem", who later turned out to be Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav. Tiwari says that the accused had introduced himself as Prof. John Kem, a renowned cardiologist from London. While the real professor has confirmed that the accused stole his identity and created fake degrees. He told a media organization through email that he has nothing to do with the accused.
There are also serious allegations that the hospital management did not inform the police or the hospital chowki about the dead. The relatives were misled and charged a hefty fee and the bodies were handed over without post-mortem. Tiwari has sent a complaint to the National Human Rights Commission demanding a thorough investigation of the deaths in the hospital, a murder case should be registered against the accused doctor and the hospital management and the hospital's registration should be cancelled. District Collector Sudhir Kochar said that an investigation has been started into the case and action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
