Drama or Disaster? Punjab Teacher’s Bizarre ‘Medicine’ Stunt on Students

Mansa (The Uttam Hindu)- A female teacher made 15 students of a college in Mansa drink alcohol to perform better on stage. The students said that the female teacher told them that this is a medicine, with this you will be able to perform well on stage.

The students told that a cultural event was organized in Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra on January 30. This event was held in the boys hostel of a college. 15 students of their college were sent for this. The students had to participate in many events including Punjabi Gidda. Some teachers were also sent with them from the college. Our first program was Gidda. Our performance in that was not good. After this, the teachers scolded them a lot in the evening. They said that this event is big, they will have to give their best performance in it. There are still many events left. There is still a chance, we will have to put in all our efforts to win the upcoming events. Then the teacher gave them something to drink by telling them that it was medicine. He said that this will improve the voice and will also give energy to give performance. The teacher made all the students drink something which was very bitter. After which the students started feeling dizzy. After this it was found out that it was alcohol. When they protested against this and complained to the principal, the teacher threatened to ruin their career.

The students further said that they remained silent till now due to the teacher's threats. But now they have demanded action against the teacher. On the other hand, the college management has maintained silence in this matter. The administration officials are also saying that they have no information in this matter. Meanwhile, All India Students Union leader Vijay Kumar has strongly condemned this incident.
