Double Murder Mystery in Bihar: Couple Killed in Motihari, Arrest Made

Motihari (The Uttam Hindu): A double murder in Motihari, Bihar has created a sensation in the area. Police have recovered the bodies of a young man and a young woman from Trilokwa village of Kesaria police station area. The deceased have been identified as Vikas Paswan and Priya Kumari. Police have arrested Aman Kumar, the accused of murder.
DSP Satendra Kumar Singh said that the police received information last night that Aman Kumar killed his sister and her lover with an iron hammer in his house in Trilokwa village of Kesaria police station area. On receiving the information, the policemen of Kesaria police station area reached the spot and found the dead bodies of the young man and woman in the room. The police took both the bodies in custody and sent them to the hospital for post-mortem. Aman Kumar, the accused of murder, has been arrested from the spot.
He said that further action will be taken after the postmortem report comes. Deceased Vikas had several criminal cases registered against him earlier including murder and Arms Act. Police have also recovered a hammer from the crime scene.
It is being told that the deceased Vikas Kumar Paswan had a love affair with Priya Kumari. He went to his girlfriend's house last night to meet her at her behest. During this time, Priya Kumari's brother Aman saw both of them in an objectionable situation. After which his anger reached the seventh sky. Fearing disgrace in the society, he decided to kill both of them. First he locked both of them in the room and then brought an iron hammer from outside and attacked both of them. Aman attacked them with the iron hammer until both of them died.
The deceased's mother said that Aman's sister used to call her son continuously and ask him to meet her. At night, the son called and said that he had been locked in a room and was asking for help to save his life.
