New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a bold move to curb crime in the nation's capital, Delhi Police intensified their efforts, leading to a dramatic encounter in the Rohini area. Three wanted criminals were apprehended with two sustaining leg injuries during the exchange of fire.
The incident occurred in Begumpur, Rohini, where police had received intel about the criminals' presence. When the suspects opened fire, police retaliated, overpowering them. Several cases are reportedly registered against the trio, who were on the police's radar for a long time.
As police attempted to intercept them, the suspects initiated gunfire, prompting officers to swiftly respond and return fire. An exchange of gunfire ensued, with multiple rounds fired from both sides. Police strategically targeted the suspects' legs, injuring two and promptly apprehending them. The third suspect was also taken into custody. The injured suspects received medical attention at a nearby hospital. According to authorities, the trio is linked to multiple ongoing criminal cases and had been evading capture for an extended period.
