Crime Shocks Haryana: Three Booked After Chopping Off Youth’s Hands Over Scooty

Jind (The Uttam Hindu): A sensational incident has come to light in Safidon of Jind district of Haryana, where some youths chopped off both the hands of a young man with a sharp weapon for not giving his scooty. This incident happened late night on 6 April and after the statement of the victim, the police has now registered a case in this matter and named three youths.
According to the information given to the police, Shiv Colony resident Narendra Kumar said that on the night of April 6, around 11:15 pm, when he was going home on his scooty from near Purani Chungi, Bharat, Kunal alias Bittu and Sagar blocked his way. The youths asked for his scooty, saying that they had to go out somewhere.
According to Narendra, when he refused to give the scooty, Sagar attacked him on the head with the sword he was holding. When Narendra raised his hand in defence, the sword hit his left hand directly, causing him to fall off the scooty. After this, Kunal alias Bittu attacked his right hand with an iron pipe, and then Bharat took the pipe from Kunal and attacked his right hand again.
In this attack, both of Narendra's hands were cut near the wrist. It is alleged that the three youths threw him on the ground and kicked him and threatened to kill him. When Narendra shouted, people from the vicinity came to the spot, after which the three accused fled.
The injured Narendra was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Panipat for treatment. City police station in-charge Dinesh Kumar said that based on Narendra's statement, a case of cutting off his hand for not giving the scooty has been registered. The police is currently trying to arrest the accused.
