Convoy Attack in Balochistan Leaves 7 Pakistani Soldiers Dead, 21 Wounded

Peshawar(The Uttam Hindu): A devastating attack on a military convoy traveling from Quetta to Taftan in Pakistan has left at least seven Pakistani soldiers dead and 21 injured, according to official sources. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the assault, alleging that 90 military personnel were killed in a coordinated operation. The attack occurred near Rakhshan Mill on the RCD Highway in Noshki, where the BLA's Fidayee unit, the Majeed Brigade, carried out a Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) attack on the convoy. The convoy consisted of eight buses, one of which was completely destroyed in the explosion. Following the initial attack, the BLA's Fateh Squad advanced and surrounded another bus, systematically eliminating all military personnel on board.
Initial investigations suggest that the attack was a suicide bombing, with evidence indicating that a suicide attacker rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the Frontier Corps (FC) convoy. Emergency measures have been implemented at Noshki Teaching Hospital and the FC Camp, where the injured are receiving treatment. Officials fear that the death toll could rise as several injured remain in critical condition.
