CM Atishi Alleges BJP-Linked Notorious Criminals Behind Attack on Kejriwal
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that Arvind Kejriwal's car was attacked by BJP goons. The Chief Minister said that this was an attempt to kill Arvind Kejriwal. The people who attacked Arvind Kejriwal's car are well-planned criminals.
The Chief Minister says that the attackers are BJP workers. He said that several serious cases are registered against these people in different police stations of Delhi. The Chief Minister says that Arvind Kejriwal's car was attacked with such a big stone in New Delhi Assembly constituency that if it had hit someone, it could have been fatal.
While revealing the identity of the attackers, Chief Minister Atishi said that Rahul alias Shanky, associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, was present at the place where Kejriwal was attacked. Atishi said that Shanky remains involved in campaigning with the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Pravesh Verma. The Chief Minister said that serious charges like attempt to robbery are registered against this person named Shanky. She said that this person is a hardcore criminal.
Along with this, a case under Arms Act is also registered against Rahul. The Chief Minister said that an FIR has been registered against this person in Shakarpur police station. The Chief Minister said that a case has been registered against this person under robbery sections. According to the Chief Minister, the case against Rahul alias Shanky is still going on. Another FIR has also been registered against this person in Paharganj police station. The Chief Minister says that it is clear from this that notorious criminals and goons were sent to attack Arvind Kejriwal. Such goons were sent who already have cases of robbery going on against them.
Chief Minister Aatish said that apart from this, Rohit Tyagi was one of the other people involved in the attack. Rohit Tyagi attacked Arvind Kejriwal's car and it is evident from his Facebook page that he is associated with Pravesh Verma. He is continuously involved in Pravesh Verma's campaign. The Chief Minister said that Rohit is also involved in criminal cases, three cases are also going on against him. The Chief Minister said that Rohit has serious cases like theft and attempt to murder along with theft in which he can be sentenced to 10 years. According to the Chief Minister, Rohit is also charged with attempt to murder.
The Chief Minister identified the third person as Sumit. The Chief Minister said that Sumit has cases of theft, robbery, attempt to murder during robbery registered against him in different police stations. The Chief Minister said that all three are trained goons, trained criminals. If such criminals were sent to attack Arvind Kejriwal, then it is quite clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party, frustrated by its defeat in the elections, has come down to killing Arvind Kejriwal. The Chief Minister accused Pravesh Verma that he knows that he cannot win the elections by distributing Rs. 1100, bedsheets, shoes, spectacles, so he wants to attack Arvind Kejriwal.
