Central Government Approves Chandrayaan-5 Mission, ISRO Reveals Timeline for Chandrayaan-4 Launch

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The central government has officially approved the ambitious Chandrayaan-5 mission, as announced by ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan. Alongside this, ISRO has also revealed the potential launch date for India’s Chandrayaan-4 mission.
In an update, ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan stated that the approval for the Chandrayaan-5 mission was received just three days ago. This mission will be a collaborative effort with Japan, and it aims to send a 250 kg rover to the moon to study its surface.
Additionally, Narayanan provided insights into the Chandrayaan-4 mission. He stated that the mission is expected to be launched in 2027. The primary goal of Chandrayaan-4 will be to collect samples from the moon and bring them back to Earth for further analysis.
