Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in collaboration with the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) and the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), successfully concluded a two-day 'Training of Trainers (ToT)' program today at Chandigarh Baptist School, Sector 45 D. This initiative aims to develop a network of 15,000 CBSE resource persons across India, equipping educators with advanced skills and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance educational standards. The Chandigarh session marked the second installment in this series, drawing participation from 75 resource persons across the region.

The training was led by esteemed experts, including Sh. Rajiv Manjhi (Director, ISTM and Joint Secretary, Government of India), Ms. Ramandeep Kaur (Deputy Secretary, CBSE), and Sh. IJ Mittal (Master Trainer, DoPT). Their sessions provided in-depth, practical insights and cutting-edge educational strategies, reinforcing participants’ capacity to mentor and train CBSE teachers nationwide. Speaking at the event, Ms. Ramandeep Kaur highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating, “Empowering educators with advanced skills and knowledge is fundamental to achieving transformative growth in the education sector. The ToT program is a crucial step toward building a dynamic and resourceful community of educators.”
