CBSE 10th Exams to Be Held Twice a Year: Check Dates, Syllabus and New Rules

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): CBSE will now conduct the class 10th board examinations twice a year starting from the 2025-26 session. The board has requested public feedback on this decision until March 9. The proposal was discussed in detail during an important meeting chaired by the Union Education Minister, where it was decided to seek opinions from the public. In 2026, the first CBSE 10th examination will take place from February 17 to March 6, and the second will be held from May 5 to 20. This change is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offering students a second chance to improve their performance.
