Bomb Threat Targets Vadodara Schools After Delhi Incident, Panic Spreads

Vadodara ((The Uttam Hindu): Three schools in Vadodara, Gujarat have received bomb threats. The principal of Navrachana School located in Bhayli area was threatened with a bomb blast by sending an email, claiming that bombs have been placed in the pipeline. The threatening email came at 4 am on Friday. On receiving the information, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), Crime Branch and Police team reached the spot and started investigation. As a precaution, students have been given leave today.
The BDS team reached Navrachana School and University to conduct a thorough investigation. The BDS team started inspecting the university while Crime Branch and PCB police teams also joined the search operation. According to sources, children of senior officials and politicians also study in Navrachana School. The police have started an investigation to trace the person who made the bomb threat.
According to media reports, last Thursday, there was a stir in Mumbai's Jogeshwari and Oshiwara areas after receiving an email threatening to bomb a school. After receiving the threat, a team of Mumbai Police and bomb squad reached the school premises and started investigation. It was claimed in the email that the bomb was planted by Afzal's gang.
