Boiler Blast Horror: Three Lives Lost, Six Critically Injured

Ghaziabad (The Uttam Hindu): A major accident took place in a textile factory in Datehri village, located in the Bhojpur police station area of Ghaziabad district, due to a boiler explosion. The tragic incident resulted in the death of three workers, while six others were seriously injured. Upon receiving information about the accident, local police immediately reached the spot and initiated relief operations.
Following the incident, the families of the deceased became furious and staged a protest outside the factory. They refused to allow the police to remove the bodies, demanding strict action against those responsible. In response to the growing crowd of villagers, the police administration called for additional forces from nearby police stations. The families alleged that the factory management had failed to provide proper safety equipment to the workers, leading to the accident.
The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation at the scene. As of now, the exact cause of the boiler explosion remains unclear. The authorities were preparing to send the bodies for post-mortem, but due to opposition from the families, this process could not be carried out. Police officers appeared helpless in controlling the situation. Meanwhile, all the injured workers have been admitted to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Anuj, Yogendra, and Awadhesh. It has been reported that these three workers belonged to Jewar, Bhojpur, and Modinagar, respectively. The police have also spoken to some of the injured workers. According to eyewitnesses, the explosion was so powerful that it caused panic in the surrounding area. A massive crowd from nearby villages has gathered at the accident site.
