Blood and Silence: Mother Murders Sons with Coconut Cutter, Leaps to Death

Hyderabad (The Uttam Hindu): A deeply disturbing and heartbreaking incident unfolded in the Gajularamaram area of Hyderabad, where a woman ended the lives of her two young sons before taking her own life by jumping from a five-storey building. The tragedy has left the community in shock and mourning.
The woman, identified as Tejaswini, allegedly killed her sons, Arshit Reddy and Ashish Reddy, using a sharp coconut-cutting weapon. Following the gruesome act, she leapt to her death. Before the incident, she penned a six-page suicide note, pouring out the emotional and physical distress she had been enduring for years. According to initial findings, Tejaswini had been battling a serious eye condition, and tragically, both of her children inherited the same illness. Their condition required regular medication every four hours to preserve their vision. The relentless cycle of caregiving, medical stress, and emotional exhaustion reportedly pushed her into a state of despair.
Neighbours and locals were stunned by the tragic turn of events, describing the family as quiet and reserved. Authorities are currently verifying the contents of the suicide note and have launched an investigation to confirm the sequence of events. This heartbreaking case has once again drawn attention to the importance of mental health support and the need for assistance for caregivers dealing with long-term illness in families.
