Big Breaking: Sukhbir Badal, Akali Dal Chief, Resigns

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party president Sukhbir Singh Badal has resigned from his post. His resignation is tendered before the executive committee of the party.

The statement of resignation expresses appreciation toward leaders and workers for supporting and cooperating during his term period.He said that he quit to pave the way for an election into the office of party president. It was done in consideration of bringing change and changes in the party's course. Party Spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema came up with this statement.
