A Big Shocker To Rishabh Pant: BCCI slapped 12 Lakhs Fine Despite LSG'S Win, Here's Why!

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Although Lucknow Super Giants won the match by defeating Mumbai Indians, the team's captain Rishabh Pant has been fined for maintaining slow over rate. Apart from this, spinner Digvesh Rathi also got the second demerit point of the tournament. Actually, Pant was found guilty of slow over rate in the match held at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on April 4, so BCCI has sentenced him to a fine of 12 lakhs.
Digvesh Rathi, who defeated Mumbai with another deadly performance, has again been punished for his notebook celebration. According to the rules of IPL, every team has to complete 20 overs in 90 minutes. Against Mumbai Indians, Lucknow's team could not bowl its 20 overs in the stipulated time. Due to this, Lucknow was forced to keep one fielder less outside 30 yards in the last over.
