New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has passed a resolution condemning the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh and calling for international intervention. The resolution expresses deep concern over the systematic violence, injustice and oppression faced by Hindus and other minority communities in Bangladesh, citing a decline in the Hindu population from 22% in 1951 to 7% today.

The RSS has appealed to the United Nations and the global community to take cognizance of the human rights violations in Bangladesh and pressure the government to stop these violent activities. The resolution also notes that international powers are deliberately creating an atmosphere of distrust and conflict in India's neighboring regions, spreading instability by pitting one country against another.

The situation in Bangladesh has been marked by attacks on monasteries, temples and educational institutions, as well as murders, looting, kidnapping and atrocities on women. The RSS has emphasized that these incidents cannot be dismissed as merely political, as most of the victims are from Hindu and other minority communities. The resolution is a call to action, urging the international community to take notice of the plight of Hindus and other minority communities in Bangladesh and to work towards ensuring their safety and well-being.
