Bahadurgarh Sector 9 Blast: 4 Dead, 1 Critical After AC Compressor Explodes

Jhajjar (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating incident occurred in Bahadurgarh's Sector 9 on Saturday evening, resulting in the loss of four lives from the same family. The blast which is believed to have been caused by the bursting of an AC compressor, also left an elderly family member critically injured.

According to eyewitnesses, two loud explosions were heard from the house, located near the police post in Sector 9. The sound of shattering glass from doors and windows was also reported. After being alerted, the police and locals rushed to the scene, where they found an elderly man groaning in pain. With the help of PCR personnel, the injured man was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Upon further investigation, four bodies were discovered inside the house, including those of two children, a young man and a woman. The identities of the deceased have not been confirmed. The police were quick to respond and a forensic team was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the blast.

DCP Mayank Mishra also arrived at the scene to inspect the area. While denying that the blast was caused by a cylinder explosion, the DCP stated that it was difficult to confirm whether the AC compressor was the cause. The police are currently investigating the matter from all angles.

The injured elderly family member has been referred to Rohtak PGI in critical condition. The police are working to gather more information about the case and a complete picture of the incident is expected to emerge soon.
