Authorities Demolish House of Female Drug Smuggler in Jalandhar; Couple Faces 6 NDPS Cases

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu)- The Punjab government's action against drugs is going on in full swing. Meanwhile, the Jalandhar Rural Police demolished a building built on Panchayat land illegally occupied by a female drug smuggler in Pasla village of Nakodar.

A large number of police force has been deployed in the area. This action has been taken in the presence of SSP Gurmeet Singh of Jalandhar Rural Police. On this occasion, SSP Gurmeet Singh said that, a few days ago, the BDPO of Roorka Kalan had written a letter and lodged a complaint against female drug smuggler Jaswinder Kaur alias Jassi. In which it was said that the said female drug smuggler along with her husband had built an illegal building in an area of about three and a half marlas. Taking action on the complaint of the BDPO, the building was demolished today. 6 cases are registered against the woman and her husband. In which a murder case is also registered along with cases of NDPS Act. The woman is absconding from home. The rural police has seized property worth 35 to 40 crores in the last few days.
