ATTACK ON BJP LEADER'S HOTEL: Police Investigate Firing Incident, Hunt for Accused

Muzaffarnagar (The Uttam Hindu): A recent incident in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, has raised concerns about law and order. Late on Friday night, miscreants fired heavily at the Sangam Hotel, owned by BJP leader Nitish Malik, located on Delhi-Dehradun National Highway-58 in Nai Mandi Kotwali area. The attackers, who were drunk and riding in a Scorpio car, had earlier visited the hotel around 12:30 and misbehaved with the staff. After a brief pacification, they returned around 2:00 and started firing indiscriminately at the hotel. The incident was captured on CCTV and a video of the attackers threatening the hotel owner has gone viral on social media.
The police have seized the CCTV footage and started an investigation. They assure that the accused will be identified and arrested soon. Nitish Malik, who was the district president of BJP youth wing from 2013-2017, has demanded strict action from the administration, expressing concern that despite being part of the Yogi government, the courage of the goons remains high. This incident has sparked worries about the safety and security of citizens in the region. The police are working to apprehend the culprits and ensure justice is served.
