Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): The controversy surrounding Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh's recent show in Chandigarh shows no signs of subsiding. Meanwhile, reports have emerged that the much-anticipated show of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon, originally scheduled at the Exhibition Ground in Sector 34, will now not take place there.

The administration has decided to re-shift the performance of AP Dhillon, as his show has gone ahead to be disrupted twice earlier, once by Diljit Dosanjh, and another time by Karan Aujla. The show will now take place at the Rally Ground, Sector 25, a first time musical night event there. District Commissioner Nishant Yadav met with the company officials and convinced them to shift the event to Sector 25 Rally Ground. The decision comes after requests from city residents who had urged the administration to shift the show to a more suitable location. DC Nishant Yadav confirmed the shift, saying that the company representatives are now in the process of submitting the revised booking agenda to the administration.

Besides the venue change, an advisory will be issued by the administration for AP Dhillon's event. The Child Protection Commission is also expected to release a separate advisory, listing conditions for the event.
