New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has received a setback from Allahabad High Court. The court has refused to grant relief to Rahul Gandhi in the case of making alleged derogatory remarks on Veer Savarkar. Rahul Gandhi had filed a petition challenging the order of the lower court, in which he was issued summons and fined. The court rejected Rahul Gandhi's petition. The High Court bench has suggested him to adopt an alternate remedy and asked him to go to Lucknow Session Court. In fact, on March 3, the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Lucknow had imposed a fine of 200 on Rahul for continuously missing the hearing. It was warned that he should appear in court on April 14, if he does not appear on this date also, strict legal action can be taken. A non-bailable warrant can also be issued.
