LIVE: AAP’s Kundan Gogia to be Patiala’s New Mayor; Senior and Deputy Mayors also Announced

Patiala (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Kundan Gogia has been appointed as the new Mayor of Patiala. Harinder Kohli will serve as the Senior Deputy Mayor while Jagdeep Jagga has been named the Deputy Mayor of the Royal City.

The announcement was made by AAP Punjab President Aman Arora along with Punjab Ministers Dr. Balbir Singh, Birinder Goyal and other senior party leaders. Arora stated that all three Municipal Corporation office-bearers were elected unanimously reflecting strong party unity and public support.

This development follows AAP's resounding victory in the recent Municipal Corporation elections where the party secured 43 out of 53 seats establishing a dominant position in Patiala’s local governance.
