A Tale Of Deadly Class Reunion: Mother Kills 3 Children For Former Flame

Sangareddy (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking case of murder has come to light in Sangareddy, Telangana, where a 30-year-old woman, Rajita, killed her three children to be with her former classmate and lover, Shiva. The children, aged 12, 10, and 8, were suffocated to death by their mother. According to the police, Rajita met Shiva at a 10th-class batch reunion a few months ago, rekindling their old love. However, Shiva had one condition for their relationship: he wanted Rajita to leave her children behind. Rajita, desperate to be with Shiva, hatched a plan to kill her children.

On the evening of March 27, Rajita informed Shiva of her decision, and he agreed. She then suffocated her children one by one using a towel. When her husband, Chennaiyya, returned home late at night, Rajita pretended that the children were unconscious due to eating curd rice. The police were informed after hospital staff grew suspicious, and Rajita confessed to the crime. Both Rajita and Shiva have been arrested. This case bears an eerie resemblance to another recent case in Meerut, UP, where a woman killed her husband to be with her former lover, whom she met at a class reunion.
