60-Year-Old Accused of Brutal Rape of Minor, Restrained Victim

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A 60-year-old man in Bihar Sharif, Yogendra Prasad, a public distribution system (PDS) dealer, is accused of the brutal rape of a 13-year-old girl. The girl, who worked as a domestic helper in his home, alleges that Prasad tied her hands and legs before sexually assaulting her on the evening of March 6th.

The assault occurred while his family was away at a wedding in Kolkata. After experiencing stomach pain, the girl informed her family, who then filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the women's police station. A medical examination was conducted on the girl. Following the filing of the FIR, Prasad fled his residence. The victim's father stated that after discovering the assault, family and neighbors went to Prasad's home, but he had already left. Police are currently conducting raids to apprehend him.
