The ministry said that this brings the total number of people killed since the recent tension between Israel and Lebanon began to 3,186 and the number of injured to 14 thousand 078.

The Israeli Air Force attacked a residential building in the Alamat settlement, 15 km from the resort city of Byblos in northern Lebanon on Sunday morning, killing more than 20 people, including children. Israel has been conducting a ground operation against Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon since October 1 while continuing air strikes. Hezbollah has been fighting Israeli troops on the ground and launching rockets across the border despite losses. Israel says its main goal is to create conditions for the return of 60,000 residents who fled shelling in the north.
