Washington (The Uttam Hindu): After taking the oath as the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump launched a scathing criticism of his predecessor, President Joe Biden and his administration during his first speech. He also announced several significant decisions. In his address at the Capitol Rotunda, Trump declared that today marks the beginning of America's "Golden Age." He pledged to restore the respect and honor America had lost on the global stage.

Trump accused the previous administration of failing to address both internal and external challenges. He claimed that while the government provided financial aid to secure other nations' borders, it failed to protect its own. He also stated that the inflation crisis was largely caused by excessive spending and rising energy prices. He went on to announce a "national energy emergency." Additionally, Trump declared an emergency on the U.S.-Mexico border to curb illegal immigration, vowing to send in the military.

1. Trump signed an order pardoning 1,500 individuals convicted for their involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill attack.

2. He signed an executive order to begin the process of withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization (WHO).

3. Drug traffickers will be declared terrorists.

4. A wall will be constructed along the Mexico border, and a 25% tariff will be imposed on Mexico and Canada. These rules are expected to come into effect next month (February).

5. The U.S. will withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.

6. Trump announced the end of the third gender.

7. Plans to promote electric vehicles will be canceled.

8. A national emergency will be declared on the U.S.-Mexico border.

9. Birthright citizenship in the U.S. will be eliminated.

10. Trump officially ended the third gender in the U.S., stating that there will now only be two genders.
