Triple Murder at Birthday Bash in Panchkula: Woman and Two Men Shot Dead in Cold Blood
Panchkula (The Uttam Hindu): Three individuals were tragically shot dead in the parking lot of a hotel during a birthday celebration early on Monday. The victims, aged between 20-25, included two men from Delhi, Vineet alias Vicky and Tirath, and a woman from Hisar Cantonment, Vandana, who were seated inside a Scorpio car when two unidentified gunmen opened fire, killing them on the spot.
The attack was carried out by three assailants. Another female companion, who was present with the victims, managed to escape unscathed. The group was part of a birthday celebration at Hotel Sultanate, located on Morni Road in Pinjore. While the party was ongoing, the trio remained inside the parked vehicle when two assailants approached in a car and began shooting, firing approximately 15-16 rounds. Vicky was hit multiple times, and all three victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The two young men had been staying in Sector 20, Panchkula.
Senior police officials quickly arrived at the scene. Investigations are underway, with the police gathering CCTV footage from the hotel and speaking to the friends and other partygoers. The bodies were sent to Sector-6 Hospital in Panchkula for post-mortem examinations. Sources indicate that the shooting may be related to an ongoing dispute. Pinjore SHO Soumbir Dhaka stated, "We are working to determine the cause of the incident and are trying to track down the accused."
