Bhopal (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident in Bhopal, 22-year-old Anshul Yadav was murdered by his two brothers, Aman and Kuldeep, following a violent dispute over bringing chicken into their strictly vegetarian home. The tragic event occurred on November 9, 2024, in the Indira Nagar area of Bairagarh. Anshul, who occasionally consumed non-vegetarian food outside, returned home intoxicated and insisted on cooking chicken, which angered his family.
A heated argument ensued during dinner, and in a fit of rage, Aman and Kuldeep strangled Anshul with a rope. In an attempt to cover up the crime, the brothers took Anshul to a private hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. The hospital staff, noticing signs of foul play, alerted the police. Upon interrogation, the brothers confessed to the murder, and their mother, Anita Yadav, was charged with concealing evidence.
The Yadav family is originally from Kheri in Vidisha district. The brothers, who worked in private jobs, were known to struggle with alcohol addiction, which may have fueled the tension within the family. This tragic incident highlights how family disputes, even over seemingly trivial matters, can escalate into violence.
