New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- PM Narendra Modi said today that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, whose seed was sown 100 years ago, is today spreading India's great culture to the new generation in the form of a banyan tree. PM Modi further said, 'It is his good fortune that this organization has inspired millions of people like him to live for the country.'

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived to light the lamp of Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, he requested Sharad Pawar to come forward and show respect to him. After this, when Sharad Pawar was returning to his seat after finishing his address, PM Modi helped him sit on the seat and gave him a glass of water. During his address, the Prime Minister also mentioned the status of classical language given to Marathi recently and said that 12 crore Marathi speaking people in the country and the world had been waiting for this for decades.

He said, 'I got the opportunity to complete this work. I consider it a great fortune of my life.' The Prime Minister said that the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan is not an event limited to one language or state, this conference of Marathi literature has the fragrance of the freedom struggle.
