New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- Instructions have been given to remove the videos of the stampede that took place on February 15 at New Delhi Railway Station. The Railway Ministry has issued a notice to social media platform X and asked it to remove 288 video links. The investigation report in the case has not come yet, but the railways have definitely issued an order. The ministry sent this notice on February 17 and instructed X to remove all video links related to the incident within 36 hours.

Citing ethical norms and IT policy, the railway has asked X to remove such videos in which dead bodies and unconscious passengers are visible. However, no reply has been given by X on the letter of the Railway Ministry so far. The railway administration has formed a two-member committee to find out the cause of the stampede. This committee includes PCCM Narsingh Dev of Northern Railway and Pankaj Gangwar of PCSC Northern Railway. The committee has been directed to take strict action against the culprits by analyzing all the available evidence including the video footage of New Delhi Railway Station
