New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Amid the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, an employee posted at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi was seen carrying a cake inside the premises. When the media tried to speak with him, he said nothing about the reason for taking a cake inside or what celebration it was for. Questions are being raised over the arrival of the cake at the Pakistan High Commission during the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The media tried to talk to the employee, but he did not respond or clarify the reason for bringing the cake. It is still unclear why the cake was ordered and for what occasion.

A video of the incident has also surfaced, showing the employee of the Pakistani High Commission carrying the cake in his hand. When asked why he brought the cake, he gave no answer. Journalists present there asked several questions—who he was, who the cake was for, whether a party was going on inside the embassy, or who ordered the cake. But the man remained silent. He wandered around for a while and then entered the High Commission.

Following the Pahalgam attack, the impact on India-Pakistan relations is becoming visible. The security around the Pakistani Embassy in Delhi has also been reduced. At present, the area outside the embassy appears deserted, with no security personnel in sight.
