New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Controversy has erupted following the presence of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu at U.S. President Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, leading to strong objections from India. The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jayswal, stated that India will raise this issue with the United States.

Jayswal emphasized that India will continue to bring up issues related to national security before the U.S. government. His comments followed reports that Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, who holds dual citizenship of Canada and the U.S., was allegedly spotted at Trump’s inauguration ceremony. During the weekly press briefing, Jayswal said, "Whenever any anti-India activity takes place, we raise the matter with the U.S. government. We will continue to raise such issues with the U.S. government that affect our national security and promote an anti-India agenda."

It was reported that Pannu was seen at the ceremony despite not being officially invited, and he had apparently purchased tickets through a contact. While the crowd at the event was chanting "USA, USA," Pannu was seen raising slogans in support of Khalistan. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media, further amplifying the controversy.
