Deadly Feud: Four Killed in Violent Clash Between Rival Groups in Jabalpur
Jabalpur(The Uttam Hindu): A heated argument between two groups in Jabalpur district, Madhya Pradesh, escalated into violence, resulting in the brutal murder of four individuals. The police have arrived at the scene and are taking appropriate action.
According to information provided by Lokesh Dabar, the Police Sub-Divisional Officer of Pattan area, the incident occurred around 11 AM in Timari village, located 25 kilometers from the district headquarters. When asked about the cause of the incident, he explained that a heated argument broke out between the two groups in the morning, which later turned violent. The officer confirmed that the violence was a result of a long-standing feud between the two parties. A group of young men, aged between 25 and 35 years, was attacked by the opposing group. Three of the young men died on the spot, while one more succumbed to his injuries shortly after being taken to a nearby hospital. Another young man was injured and has been hospitalized; his condition is reported to be stable. The officer further stated that efforts to apprehend the culprits are underway, and an investigation is ongoing. A large number of security forces have been deployed in the village to maintain order.
The victim’s family placed the bodies of the deceased on the road and blocked it in protest. The deceased have been identified as Aniket Dubey, Sameer Dubey, Gunjan Pathak, and Chandan Pathak. It is believed that the murders were committed by members of a Sahu family, who live in the same area. The two families have had a long-standing rivalry. Reports indicate that a meeting was scheduled between the two parties on Monday, during which the accused suddenly attacked with sticks and swords.
