New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Amit Shah launched the BJP's Sankalp Patra 3.0. On this occasion, he stated that for the BJP, the Sankalp Patra is a matter of trust not just promises. This document is based on the suggestions of 1.08 lakh people and 62 thousand groups. Shah also launched a sharp attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of making false promises and then appearing before the public with an innocent face during elections.

Promises made by BJP to the people of Delhi:

-An accident insurance of ₹5 lakh will be provided to laborers.

-13,000 new electric buses will be introduced in Delhi.

-50,000 government jobs will be provided to youth.

-Development of the Sabarmati Riverfront and Yamuna will be undertaken.

-Delhi's problems will be resolved within five years.

-20 lakh job opportunities will be created for youth.

-Ownership rights will be granted to 1,700 unauthorized colonies.

-Treatment up to ₹5 lakh will be provided free of cost in Delhi.

-13,000 sealed shops will be reopened.

Amit Shah stated that Kejriwal had promised no minister would take a government bungalow but he not only took one but also built a lavish "Sheesh Mahal." He is living in a luxurious home while the people of Delhi are demanding answers from him. Shah also accused Kejriwal of being involved in the liquor scam with the Education Minister facing allegations as well. Kejriwal had promised to purify the Yamuna within seven years but now the people of Delhi are questioning him—if he cannot take a dip in the Yamuna, should he go to the Kumbh to do so?

Amit Shah also mentioned that Kejriwal spent so much on advertisements that there was no money left for waste management in Delhi. Shah criticized Kejriwal for spreading serious lies, claiming that BJP would end all the schemes upon coming to power. He urged that such politics of lies must end. While everyone makes promises, only the Modi government has the ability to fulfill them. He also noted that Kejriwal's promises regarding pollution and corruption remain unfulfilled and today, Delhi is still struggling with waste.
