Ubisoft Launches Assassin's Creed: Shadows After Multiple Delays

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Ubisoft has officially released *Assassin's Creed: Shadows* on Thursday, following two previous delays. The game is now available for purchase on multiple platforms, including Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and the Apple App Store for Mac. It is also confirmed for the iPad, with a release planned for later on the device.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows – Pricing and Editions

PC:

- Standard Edition – Priced at Rs 4,899, includes access to the base game.

- Deluxe Edition – Priced at Rs 6,299, includes the base game, the Sekiryu Dual Pack with gear and weapon sets for both Naoe and Yasuke, the Sekiryu Beast, Dragon Tooth trinket, Sekiryu Hideout Pack with four unique ornaments to customize the hideout, and five mastery points.

- Pre-order Bonus – Players who pre-ordered will receive the 'Claws of Awaji' DLC expansion for free.

PlayStation 5:

Set in 16th-century Japan, *Assassin's Creed: Shadows* immerses players in an era defined by conflict and the desire for unification. The game introduces two main protagonists: Naoe, a skilled shinobi assassin from Iga province, and Yasuke, the renowned samurai. Their intertwined stories explore personal battles while encountering historical figures who helped shape Japan’s future.

Players can switch between the two characters, each with unique playstyles. Naoe is a stealth expert, using noise, light, and shadows to avoid detection. As Naoe, players can utilize throwing weapons such as kunai, shuriken, and smoke bombs, along with a grappling hook and parkour abilities to infiltrate enemy bases. Her hidden blade is essential for quick, silent assassinations.

Yasuke, in contrast, relies on raw power and precision in combat. As a formidable samurai, Yasuke can attack, block, and parry with precision, wielding a variety of weapons such as the katana, kanabo, bows, and naginata to take down enemies in direct combat.
