Britannia CEO Rajneet Singh Kohli Resigns; To Pursue New Opportunity
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Britannia Industries, a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, announced on Thursday that Rajneet Singh Kohli has resigned as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 14, 2025. The company cited Kohli’s decision to pursue an opportunity outside the company as the reason for his departure. In a communication to the stock exchanges, Britannia’s Board of Directors confirmed the resignation via a Circular Resolution, stating that Kohli would be relieved from his duties at the close of business hours on March 14.
Kohli, who joined Britannia as CEO in September 2022, has an extensive background in leadership roles at several prominent companies. Before his tenure at Britannia, he held senior positions at Domino's India (operated by Jubilant Foodworks), Asian Paints, and Coca-Cola Co. His departure marks a significant change at the helm of one of India’s top FMCG giants.
