With this victory, the Indian Arrows Women Juniors secured nine points from four matches, temporarily claiming the top spot in Group B. They will now wait for the outcome of the match between Inter Kashi and Roots FC later on Wednesday. If Inter Kashi fails to win, the Arrows will confirm their spot in the Final Round. The match started with Divyani opening the scoring after a well-executed move from the Arrows’ attack, which initially saw her strike the post but score from the rebound. Captain Shveta doubled the lead with a finish from a cut-back by Anushka, before Abhista added a third goal. Anushka then took center stage, scoring two goals in quick succession, first with a close-range finish and then a composed effort after a brilliant dribble past the goalkeeper. She completed her hat-trick early in the second half, finishing off a corner at the far post to make it 6-0. Anushka also provided an assist for Gurleen’s goal and Gurnaz wrapped up the dominant win with a powerful near-post finish.
