India shines at world pickleball championship, wins Six medals in hong kong

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India delivered an outstanding performance at the World Pickleball Championship in Hong Kong securing a total of six medals—one gold three silvers and two bronze. The standout moment came from Vanshik Kapadia and Vrushali Thakare who won the gold in the 19 open mixed doubles category. Additionally Kuldip Mahajan claimed silver in the same event with South Korea’s Kim Eung Gwon while Vanshik Kapadia (19 open men's singles) and Karina Aditya Dwipayani & Vrushali Thakare (19 open women's doubles) also earned silver medals. The two bronze medals were awarded to Isha Lakhani & Roos Van Reek (19 open women's doubles) and Mayur Patil & Neilson Chen (19 open mixed doubles). This impressive showing follows India’s remarkable performance at the World Pickleball Championship India leg in November where the country secured 28 medals including 11 golds.
