Weather Update: Major Forecast for Punjab, Conditions to Persist Until the 10th
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Big news is emerging regarding the weather in Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the state will remain clear until March 10. There are no alerts for rain or storms expected during this period.
The cold has increased in the mornings and evenings due to snowfall in the mountains. While March began with rain, the Meteorological Department has forecasted that the month will be warmer than usual. The temperature is expected to remain above normal for the first 15 days of March, with temperatures staying above average from March 7 to 14.
Chandigarh experienced light rain on Monday night, but Tuesday morning began with clear skies. Late into the night, the temperature dropped to 20 degrees. For the second consecutive day, Chandigarh recorded the highest temperature in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. The highest temperature of 26.2 degrees was recorded at Chandigarh Airport across the three states.
