The marathon route passed through Balachaur, Pinjore, and Solan, before reaching its final destination at Chail, home to the world’s highest cricket ground, situated at an elevation of 7,000 feet. Originally established as King George’s Royal Indian Military College, the institution was renamed Rashtriya Military School, Chail in 2007. The school prepares cadets for entry into the Indian Armed Forces as officers after completing their 10+2 education.
