Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): A major accident occurred late at night at the Bhogpur Sugar Mill in Jalandhar, where one employee lost his life, and his colleague was seriously injured. According to reports, both employees were working in the chimney power plant when the incident took place. One of them slipped and fell from the belt, resulting in a fatal injury, while the other sustained severe injuries.

One Employee Dies

Company official Tajinder Singh confirmed that the two employees were working on a belt when one of them lost his balance and fell. Tragically, he died on the spot, while the other was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Deceased Had Joined Just a Month Ago

The deceased employee had joined the company only about a month ago. The police of Bhogpur Police Station have been informed about the incident, and they are currently investigating the matter. Both employees were reportedly working as contractors at the mill.
