Sukhbir, Majithia & Dhindsa Confess Akali Rule Mistakes at Akal Takht: Bhundar Shoots Down Allegations!
Amritsar(The Uttam Hindu):Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal has acknowledged the mistakes made during the Akali-BJP government at the Akal Takht Sahib. He admitted to errors, including pardoning Dera Sacha Sauda's Ram Rahim and the involvement in the firing incident. Sukhbir accepted that mistakes were made during the tenure of the government.
Majithia Apologizes with Folded Hands
Bikram Majithia also apologized with folded hands in front of the Sikh high priests. He clarified that he was not part of the cabinet from 2007 to 2012, but served in the cabinet from 2012 to 2017. He stated that while he was not involved in any specific issue, he admitted his fault in being part of that cabinet. He apologized deeply for his involvement.
Dhindsa Acknowledges His Mistake
Meanwhile, Parminder Singh Dhindsa also admitted to his mistake. When questioned by the Sikh high priests about whether he supported the officers involved in the investigation of the sacrilege cases, Dhindsa answered affirmatively and said, "Yes, I did this wrong."
Balwinder Bhundar Denies the Allegations
Shiromani Akali Dal's acting president, Balwinder Singh Bhundar, denied the allegations made against him. The Jathedar had accused Bhundar of holding meetings with Baba from Sirsa at his residence. Bhundar refuted the claims, stating that these allegations were completely false. He added that those who made the accusations couldn’t even name his address, emphasizing that the allegations were 200% incorrect.
